Welcome to the CP tutorial about painting. I will introduce you to our three easy skills on painting with unique acrylic texture. And I am going to show you the whole step how to get the painting easily. If you have some easy materials, then you can follow the article to create your painting. Some common, practical, basic techniques with acrylic.
As long as you have real acrylic paint, you can create a kind of texture for painting. I have used two types of brush, a pretty flat long brush, and a simple brush. And then we are gonna use the two last skills by sort of cardboard, so you only need a flap off of a cardboard box. It is very easy stuff.
I need to pour the acrylic paint into the palette to mix them. That is essentially because I am creating this texture on painting, you can create it on any type of paper. Just the thicker the paper you have cardstock is just like copying only it is a little thicker. It will just make the paper warp a little less with the liquid being on top of painting. The paint is so trick number one, this is one of my favorite tricks. You only need to choose a few colors which you want to use. I am using dark blue and green, let’s just use two kinds of colors with painting. So I won’t use over four colors at most three kinds of colors for painting. Because that it would become over mixed and muddy.
So what I need is on this paper plate. I am just going to put a little bit of acrylic paint and then I am going to drop in a little extra acrylic here. So the painting has some overlap. I do not want them to separate. The painting looks great. I am gonna take my little brush and mix them together slightly but would not over mix only take them spin together. So the diy painting look a bit of cool when they are mixed a little swirly. So that is what I want to do, then there is not anything to do. I will clean those brushes later.
Now I am going to use a big long brush right here. I am gonna the edge of it so you can see that I have got it all on the edge. I am gonna set the paper plate to the side and with this on the tip of my brush. I am just going to do one swoop in painting, so one pull of the brush right across this painting to create an acrylic stripe texture. So I am gonna come down and slide it. If I mix a little bit of paint, you will see that painting is really beautiful, but if I just mix a bit of color, the painting will operate a little. So how much paint you mix on the painting will truly decide the of mix when you slide it. I will put this brush on a side.
The second skill will need a little scrap sheet of cardboard, so I am gonna basically cut it to get a strip of it. I have a straight edge on one side, so this looks pretty 3 inches in length and a quarter of an inch wide. It is not important how wide it is. The point is I will use it like a brush on easy painting. But it will give me a different effect, so I am gonna set it to the side. Let’s use some different colors with painting, a red color, a yellow color, maybe there will be like a red orange painting.
We are going to do something kind of similar to what we did with the last one painting. But this time we are gonna put the acrylic on the painting directly and only need to create a strip of paint line which looks great. And then, I am going to do a couple of extra acrylic paint points. Now painting looks like a pretty mess. But all you are gonna do is with your cardboard, you are gonna lay it flat and you are just going to glide it right across and they are gonna kind of mix and streak as you pull it across. So if you only need a big pull, you will see it become a little wider on painting. I am even gonna pull it across again. But the painting has some interesting shapes and texture.
You can see the difference between this painting of texture and the first painting texture. It is very sliding across equably. Here we will provide some pretty interesting patterns of painting. There is still extra paint left on painting, so I am gonna pull it across on other painting. My fingers get a little messy here. But we will continue to do cool paintings. The first time pull down you will get these very funny painting of patterns, and subsequent pulls after that are gonna be a little more streaky. But the painting is still really beautiful. I love it. It looks almost like the sunset painting.
We are going to move on to how to do diy painting of skills number three. We need to return the scrap sheet of cardboard. And we only cut a little piece of strip. Actually, it might be a bit of cool. So I do not need it quite length, just like a little strip of cardboard like that. It is totally fine. Maybe an inch by a quarter or half an inch long. This piece of cardboard pulled up like a brush. Now it creates a really cool thing and we are going to choose paint. I think I will do a little of yellow, and a little of blue. I think painting is very nice.
So what we need to do painting is drip down a bit of paint randomly. If they have a little of spin, that is ok. I just made painting look cool at last. And then with a bit of yellow. I just keep yellow on painting. So I have a little bit of variation. Then actually I want to add a bit of green to painting. Let’s choose light green and put it on the corner of painting. Now we have put all the paint on the painting. You only need to take up your cardboard and slide across the paint and then it will mix. The little pull will get a bit of change, you can see how cool painting will start here. The painting also takes a little bit of longer to dry, but the modern abstract texture canvas oil painting that the kind of gobs of pain create once it is done drying is really cool. You absolutely do not want to overmix.
Let’s compare all vertical portrait texture painting on canvas with the third texture on painting. You will remember this is the first. It is starting to dry. You can get an exquisite different color stripe with a brush here. And then there is the second skill, the really cool painting becomes more and more big with our moving. When we pull again, we also get some pretty stripes on painting. You can compare the stripe of the first pull with the stripe of the second pull. The painting is very concise. So these are the three different easy skills on how to create easy painting in acrylic paint.
